Ty - Tom Clark Gnome
Ty – Tom Clark Gnome
He is named for the legendary baseball player, Ty Cobb(1886-1961). He's sitting on a corn cob, and the Mexican coin in his pocket also shows an ear of corn. Little Ty has bird prints on the soles of his baseball shoes, and a bill on his traditional pointed hat. His peach pit and baseball bat honor the Georgia Peach's lifetime batting average of .367. For Ty and all the other boys of summer, the baseball diamond is his field of dreams. If you're close enough, you may hear him whisper "If you build it, I will come". The number for this piece is #27. He was made in 1990.
This Cairn Studio creation is retired.
He measures 5-3/4" tall and 3" in diameter.
